The free iPhone app to check out this week: Ping
Ping is a free app from developer Gary Fung that brings a whole new way to communicate to other people right from your iPhone or iPod touch. I just found out about Ping today and decided to give it a try since in was free. “Wow, this is pretty sweet app” was my first thoughts. And Ping certainly is a sweet app.
So when you first launch Ping you will be prompted to accept or decline push notifications from Ping. Yeah you heard me right, push notifications. I know I’ve talked a lot about push notifications is my other posts too, but push in Ping is awesome. So when someone sends you a message, you’ll know right away who sent it and what they wrote.
That’s basically what Ping from Gary Fung does. It brings you a whole new way of staying in touch and communicating with friends. It’s FREE for a limited time so make sure you pick up this app NOW.
